born in london, england, uk.
I am currently living and working in the far east - primarily japan - having previously resided and worked in china, cambodia and tanzania.
for a decade I freelanced as a visual artist based in London, receiving commissions from non-fiction/editorial, book and news group publishers, including: the associated press (uk), dorling kindersley (uk) ltd, and the save the children's charitable trust.
this work was combined with employment within the scenic art, film and theatre industry - working on large-scale productions in the paint studios of, and on-stage at: the royal opera house, the royal national theatre, the coliseum (english national ballet) and the hammersmith lyric theatre, among others.
my educational background consists of:
